The best ways to get to know us are to either attend an event from the list below or schedule a tour at your convenience. We also encourage current 8th graders to take part in our “Mustang for a Day“ program. Starting in November, this program allows students to see what life as a Mustang is like by shadowing a current Lutheran North student.

8th graders and parents are invited to experience life as a member of the Mustang family at Lutheran North's much-anticipated, annual Future Mustang Day! This exciting morning will be packed full of fun, food, and fellowship!! 

OPEN TO ALL - 8th Graders and Parents
MEET - Teachers, Staff, and Future Classmates
LEARN - Programs, Culture, and Curriculum
TOUR - Classrooms and Campus
GATHER - Pizza served at 11:30 AM

Online Registration

New for 2019-2020!

Beginning November 2018

New for 2019-2020, the Lutheran High School Association will be handling the registration process online!

Follow the link below and create a new LHSA portal account to register your student. Upon completing the application, you will be prompted to pay the non-refundable registration fee based on the schedule below. Your new LHSA portal username and password will also be used to pay tuition once the application process is complete.

Registration Fee Schedule:

  • $150 through 1/31/2019

  • $200 through 2/28/2019

  • $250 through 4/30/2019

  • $300 through 5/31/2019

  • $350 beginning 6/1/2019 (along with applicable tuition)



High School Placement Tests

Saturday, January 12, 2019 (8:30 AM-12 PM) &
Saturday, January 19, 2019 (8:30 AM-12 PM)

It is important prospective students take this test to help determine course selections for high school. You do not have to reserve a spot, and you may attend either date.

On both of these dates, Principal John Reincke and Assistant Principal Tim Hardy will be available for a Q&A session with parents (event details below).



Q&A Saturdays

This is same date as the high school placement tests, but this event is held for the parents!

Principal John Reincke and Assistant Principal Tim Hardy will share information with parents that helps smooth the transition to high school for your child. You do not need to register, just come to the Media Center for a continental breakfast to meet the administrators!

Mustang Open House

January 19, 2019 (10 aM-12 pM noon)

Meet many of our dedicated, talented school leaders and discover why Lutheran North is the outstanding high school option in Macomb, Michigan!

Registered attendees will receive a FREE GIFT & a two-week extension of the $150 registration fee (2/15).

Academic Orientation

8th Graders & Parents

Tuesday, March 5, 2019 (7:00 pm)

All Parents and Future Mustangs are encouraged to attend to preview their academic options for their freshmen year at Lutheran North.



Mustang Rush

Saturday, March 9, 2019 (11:00 am)

All current 6th-8th graders who are interested in Lutheran North are encouraged to attend Mustang Rush. This is an event where all of our athletic teams & coaches and extracurricular activities & leaders will be present in our gym. It is a great event to visit our campus and learn more about all of the exciting opportunities Mustangs have to get involved!



9th Grade Course Selection

The Week of March 11, 2019

Registered 8th graders and parents will meet with an administrator to select classes. You will receive a letter in late February with your appointment date and time. Current grades, teacher recommendations, and high school placement test results will be used as evaluation tools to help in course selections. The appointment usually takes 10-15 minutes.



Physical Exam

AFTER Monday, April 15, 2019

Freshmen must have a physical exam on file before school starts in August. The physical exam must be given AFTER MONDAY, APRIL 15, 2019. You will receive the Michigan High School Athletic Association Medical History Form when you come in to schedule classes in March. Current physical information must be on file in the office, along with a copy of immunization records, in order for your child to participate in Physical Education classes and all athletics. There are no exceptions.



July Newsletter Packet

July 2019

A newsletter packet is mailed to each family with pertinent information to the start of school, including summer practice schedules and tryout dates for fall athletic teams. Watch for this mailing!



Freshmen & Transfer Orientation

Tuesday, August 20, 2019

New students (9th grade & transfer) will come to their final orientation and be given class schedules and locker assignments. Students will test their lockers, follow their schedule, and familiarize themselves with the Lutheran North hallways.
