Online Application

Early Application Deadline:

December 15, 2023

APPLY NOW!

For your convenience, you can apply online! The application fee will be $150 through January 31st. After that date, the fee increases periodically, so be sure to apply quickly!

Follow the link below and create a new LHSA portal account to complete an application for your student. Upon completion, you will be prompted to pay the non-refundable application fee based on the schedule below. Your new LHSA portal username and password will also be used to pay tuition once the application process is complete.

Application Fee Schedule:

  • $150 through 1/31

  • $200 through 2/29

  • $250 through 3/31

  • $300 through 4/30

  • $350 beginning 5/1

  • $350 + Applicable Tuition beginning 6/1

 

 

Future Mustang Day

MONDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2023 (9AM)

8th graders and parents are invited to experience life as a member of the Mustang family at Lutheran North's much-anticipated, annual Future Mustang Day! This exciting morning will be packed full of fun, food, and fellowship!!

High School Placement Tests

  • SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2023 (8:30 AM-11:30 AM)

  • SATURDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2023 (8:30 AM-11:30 AM)

It is important prospective students take this test to help determine course selections for high school. Students may attend either date. The test is free to 8th graders who have registered.

  • You do not have to reserve a spot

  • This is not an entrance exam

  • This is not required for acceptance to Lutheran North

  • Calculators are not allowed

  • Please bring a pencil (water and snacks are allowed)

On both of these dates, Principal John Reincke and Assistant Principal Tim Hardy will be available for a Q&A session with parents (event details below).

 

 

Q&A Saturdays

These are same dates as the high school placement tests, but these events are held for the parents!

  • SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2023 (8:30 AM-11:30 AM)

  • SATURDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2023 (8:30 AM-11:30 AM)

Principal John Reincke and Assistant Principal Tim Hardy will share information with parents that helps smooth the transition to high school for your child. You do not need to register, just come to the Media Center for a continental breakfast and to meet the administrators!

 

 

Academic Orientation & 9th Grade Course Selection

8th Graders & Parents

TUESDAY, MARCH 5, 2024 (6:00 PM)

All parents and incoming Mustangs are encouraged to attend to learn more about their academic options for their freshman year at Lutheran North. Students will be encouraged to submit their course selections at this event. If necessary, current grades, teacher recommendations, and high school placement test results will be used as evaluation tools to help in course selections.

 

 

Physical Exam

AFTER APRIL 15, 2024

Freshmen must have a physical exam on file before school starts in August. The physical exam must be completed AFTER April 15, 2024. The MHSAA (Michigan High School Athletic Association) Medical History Form is available here.

Current physical information must be on file in the office, along with a copy of immunization records, in order for your child to participate in Physical Education classes and all athletics. There are no exceptions.

 

 

July Newsletter Packet

JULY 2024

A newsletter packet is emailed to each family with pertinent information to the start of school, including summer practice schedules and tryout dates for fall athletic teams. Watch for this communication!

 

 

New Student Orientation

AUGUST 2024

New students (9th grade & transfer) will come to their final orientation and be given class schedules and locker assignments. Students will test their lockers, follow their schedule, and familiarize themselves with the Lutheran North hallways.

 

First Day of School

The first day of school for our freshmen class will be a half day. The upperclassmen will join us the following day for a full day of school.
