Joyful Noise Together: LHSA All Schools Concert

On February 22, 2026, the Lutheran High School Association hosted its All Schools Concert at St. Peter Macomb, bringing together student musicians from Lutheran North, Lutheran Westland, and Lutheran Northwest for an inspiring afternoon of worship and musical excellence. The concert opened with the hymn We Praise You and Acknowledge You, O God, setting a reverent tone for a program that beautifully reflected both faith and artistry. The combined bands delivered spirited performances of Liberty Bell March, Stay, On an American Spiritual, and Spy Chase, showcasing the talent and dedication of students across all campuses.

The combined choirs followed with moving selections including Zion’s Walls, The Road Home, The Word Was God, Lamb of God, and Unclouded Day. The afternoon concluded with a powerful joint performance of America the Beautiful and the Lutheran High School Association Hymn, leaving attendees uplifted and grateful for a memorable celebration of unity through music.

Special thanks to the LHSA Board of Directors; Paul Looker, Superintendent; Micah Lorenzen, Assistant Superintendent; Justin Brown, Principal, and Russell Faith, Assistant Principal at Lutheran Westland; Kristi Baughman, Principal, and Jake Klausmeier, Assistant Principal at Lutheran Northwest; and John Reincke, Principal, and Tim Hardy, Assistant Principal at Lutheran North, for their leadership and support in making this event possible. We also extend sincere appreciation to our dedicated music educators: Todd Bethune, Jennifer Brauer, Alexis Pelltier, Brian Pollatz, and Charles Russell, whose guidance and passion helped make the concert a truly outstanding experience for all.

Also thank you to St. Peter Lutheran Church & School, Rev. Kurt Wenzelburger and Rev. Dante Pronsati.
