MARTY’S PLACE

Stephanie is the Head of Educational Outreach for Marty's Place for Animals, as well as the mom of a sophomore at LHN.

Students who wish to volunteer, should reach out to her at stephanie@martysplaceforanimals.org to set up the day(s) on which they want to serve.  Students must come in groups of three or four and must be willing to commit to 11am-1pm Sundays only.

For example, a group of three students would reach out to her to sign up to volunteer on Sunday, October 11 from 11am-1pm. If that is the only day that they want to volunteer, they are not held to any future dates.  They will need to commit to a specific day and time so that Stephanie knows to expect them and can ensure that there are appropriate tasks for them to do.

PACKARD PROVING GROUNDS

Thank you to the LHN students that have given their time to the summer Farmers Market at the Packard Proving Grounds!  We truly appreciate your commitment and the difference they make in our community.

Moving forward, please begin using the POINT application to register for volunteer opportunities. Here is a link to the  link to the application. https://apps.apple.com/app/id1173737657

This will help us keep track of volunteer participation and make it easier for everyone to find and sign up for upcoming opportunities.  In addition the students will be able to see a variety of volunteer opportunities that are available.
