Stuffing Treat Bags - Immanuel also needs help to stuff the bags that they will pass out at Trunk N Treat with all the goodies and handouts. This can be done any time between now and October 22nd. Contact Jenna Berry at jberry@immlutheran.org to volunteer.

Rummage Sale - Immanuel Lutheran Church is preparing for our Rummage Sale and can use assistance in making it a success! The sale is Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17. We also have opportunities on Thursday, October 15 for set-up. We are looking for volunteers to assist in the following areas:

  • 📦 Unload & transport donated merchandise

  • 🏷️ Price & organize items in the Community Center

  • 🛒 Assist shoppers during the sale

  • 🧹 Clean up & take down tables and chairs

  • 🚚 Load unsold items into a truck

st. john fraser rummage sale

St. John Fraser is having their rummage sale on October 16th and 17th.  Volunteers are needed to set up and during the event.

Volunteer times are as follows:

  • Sunday, October 11 | 12:00–2:00 PM

  • Monday, October 12 | 9:00-7:00PM

  • Tuesday, October 13 | 9:00-7:00PM

  • Wednesday, October 14 | 9:00-7:00PM

  • Thursday, October 15 | 9:00-7:00PM

  • Friday, October 16 | 8:00-5:00PM

  • Saturday, October 17 | 8:00–4:00 PM

MARTY’S PLACE

Stephanie is the Head of Educational Outreach for Marty's Place for Animals, as well as the mom of a sophomore at LHN.

Students who wish to volunteer, should reach out to her at stephanie@martysplaceforanimals.org to set up the day(s) on which they want to serve.  Students must come in groups of three or four and must be willing to commit to 11am-1pm Sundays only. 

For example, a group of three students would reach out to her to sign up to volunteer on Sunday, October 11 from 11am-1pm. If that is the only day that they want to volunteer, they are not held to any future dates.  They will need to commit to a specific day and time so that Stephanie knows to expect them and can ensure that there are appropriate tasks for them to do.

Thank you to the LHN students that have given their time to the summer Farmers Market at the Packard Proving Grounds!  We truly appreciate your commitment and the difference they make in our community.
