At Lutheran North, we are proud to recognize the dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence of our Class of 2026 Valedictorians and Salutatorians. These students have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to their education and embody what it means to be Christ-centered leaders both in and out of the classroom.

Each of these students has worked tirelessly throughout their high school journey to achieve this honor. They have set an incredible example for their peers, consistently striving for academic excellence while upholding the values that define our school community.
We are excited to see where their paths will lead and how they will continue to shine as they take their next steps in life. Lutheran North is honored to have been part of their story, and we know their futures are bright.
Katherine Phillips is a member of Trinity Clinton Township. She attended elementary and middle school at Trinity Clinton Twp. Katie has been involved in Band, Bowling, Choir, EXAMPLE, Handbells, Ladies of Faith, National Honor Society, Senior Girls Bible Study, Theatre, and Youth 4 Life during her time at Lutheran High North. She plans on attending Calvin University to major in Engineering.
Katie’s experience at Lutheran High North was special because of the friendships she made. She would like people to know Lutheran North is a community where everyone can find their place and people. Her advice to future Mustangs is to try something new! Even if you don't love it, chances are you'll meet someone new.
Xavier Roman and his family attend St. Isidore Church. Xavier came to Lutheran High North after attending Immanuel Macomb for elementary and middle school. Throughout his four years at Lutheran High North, he has been a part of Basketball, Chess Club, Cross Country, Man Up, National Honor Society, Soccer, Track & Field, and Student Lead Bible Study. In the fall, he plans to attend the University of Notre Dame to pursue a major in Engineering.
Xavier’s Lutheran North experience was special because of the bonds he formed through the sports that he played. He would like the community to know that Lutheran North is a safe, confident school that produces leaders. His advice to future Mustangs is to challenge yourself.
Matthew Sehnert is a member of St. Peter Macomb. He was involved in many activities at Lutheran North such as Football, Lacrosse, Man Up, National Honor Society, Ski Club, and Strength Training. He came to LHN from Seneca Middle School. In the fall, he plans on attending the University of Michigan and major in Mechanical Engineering.
Matthew’s Lutheran North experience was made special because he was able to go from a public-school education to a Christ-centered education. He wants the community to know that Lutheran North is a great Lutheran school and his advice to future Mustangs is don't be afraid to try new things.
Grace Tobey is a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Macomb where she attended from preschool until eighth grade. She spent all four years of high school at Lutheran North where she was involved in Basketball, National Honor Society, Senior Girls Bible Study, Stang Gang, and Volleyball. Grace plans on attending Michigan State University and majoring in Biosystems Engineering.
Grace’s Lutheran North experience was special because of making new friends and Friday night football games. She would like the community to know that Lutheran North is a place where the truth of Christ is taught in every classroom. Her advice to future Mustangs is to be nice to everyone and find a good group of friends.
