The person that influenced me the most in my academic career is my mom, Anne Phillips. She has watched me grow and shaped me into who I am today. She has always helped me through challenging classes, pushing me to work hard. She encourages me to pursue new opportunities so I may grow from those experiences. She is selfless, always thinking of others before herself, a trait which I admire deeply. She has taught me the value of kindness, leadership, hard work, and a willingness to serve others, which I will take with me throughout my life.
