FOOTBALL

LHN Summer Strength and Conditioning: Monday-Wednesday, June 8th – July 30th @ 7:30 am-10:15 am. Thursdays 8:30am - 10:15am (LHN Weight Room, Gym & Track)

    • MHSAA Dead Week - Nothing the week of June 27th - July 5th.

  • Equipment Handout: August 5th @ 5:00 pm - SR, 5:30 pm - JR, 6:00 pm - SO, 6:30 pm - FR (LHN Aux Gym)

  • Mental Edge Preseason Conditioning Camp: August 3rd, 4th & 6th @ 7:30 am - 9:00 am (LHN Weight Room, Gym, Track & Game Field)

  • First Week of Football Practice: August 10th- 14th @ 3:30 pm – 8:30 pm (LHN Practice Field)

Freshmen Volleyball - Email Coach Lindsay

  • Incoming freshmen have the opportunity to participate in Summer League Scrimmages on Wednesday nights which are being held at:  Lutheran North High.  These dates are the following:  June 17, 24; July 8, 15, 22, 29.  Warm up begins at 4:30 PM, and scrimmages last from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.  Below is the Sign Up Genius, and I kindly ask that you sign up your player beforehand.

  • Additionally, we will be having summer practice dates as well.  These will be held at Lutheran High North on the following days: June 16, 23; July 9, 21, 28.  These will run from either 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM or 7:00 PM -9:00 PM.  Below is the Sign Up Genius, and I also kindly ask that you sign your player up beforehand.

  • Open Soccer Nights:
    Starting June 16th, we’ll hold open soccer sessions for incoming players, current team members, and a few alumni (maybe). These sessions will run from 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM. While not mandatory, these nights are highly encouraged for all players planning to participate this fall. MHSAA Dead Week - Nothing the week of June 27th - July 5th.

  • Conditioning Week:

    Our official preseason conditioning will run August 3–7, 9am. This week is an important time to build mental, emotional, and physical strength while also fostering team unity and camaraderie. No soccer cleats or balls are required—just bring a determined mind and a willing spirit. While not required, individuals trying out for soccer are expected to join us for conditioning week. There will be 3 sessions at LHN and 2 at Stony Creek.

  • Tryouts:
    August 10th-1212, 9am-1:00pm. Wednesday will be 1:00pm - 4:00pm. Activities will include ball control, passing, shooting, etc. and both small- and full-sided scrimmages. JV and Varsity team sizes will generally range from 18–22 players, depending on interest and turnout. All experience levels are welcome at both conditioning and tryouts.

  • Parent Meeting and 3v3 Tournament - August 15th.

Additionally, lifting and offseason workouts is strongly recommended for those not lifting as a part of football program. Strength and Speed Camp being put on by LHN during summer is a great opportunity to get in the weightroom and do some speed work.
